Dwight Patel’s passion for photography began in 1986 with his trusty Pentax K-1000 camera, a durable companion that lasted him over 20 years and endured countless adventures since his high school days. He mastered the art of film development and making prints in a darkroom, skills that deepened his connection to photography. His love for capturing the world through his lens has only grown, with his travels providing endless inspiration. The beach is a favorite setting for his creative work, offering both relaxation and a stunning backdrop. In addition to his visual pursuits, Dwight began running in August of 2016, starting with a mile time of 13:38. Through dedication and persistence, he has improved his pace, now running a mile in 8:30 seconds, and on a good day, even reaching 7:47. This blend of creativity and physical activity defines his well-rounded and active lifestyle.
