web development

Web development is the process of creating and maintaining websites and web applications. It involves a wide range of tasks, including designing the user interface, coding the front-end and back-end, and testing for functionality and compatibility.

The process typically starts with the gathering of requirements and design. This is where the client’s needs are understood and a design plan is created. This design plan will be in the form of wireframes or mockups, which outlines the layout and structure of the website.

Once the design is approved, the next step is the development phase. In this phase, the front-end and back-end code for the website is written. This includes coding the layout, functions and features, and integrating any necessary third-party tools or libraries.

Once the development is completed, the next step is to test the website. This includes testing for functionality, usability, and compatibility. Functionality testing ensures that the website works as intended and that all features and functions are working correctly. Usability testing ensures that the website is easy to use and navigate. Compatibility testing ensures that the website works across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

After the testing phase is completed, the website is launched and put into production. However, the process does not end here, it is important to have a maintenance phase to ensure that the website is updated and bugs are fixed.

Quality Control (QC) is an important part of the web development process, it is the process of inspecting and testing the website to ensure that it meets the required standards of quality. QC includes activities such as code reviews, testing, and user acceptance testing. It is important to have a QC process in place to identify and fix any issues before the website goes live.
